Friends Trip to Morocco

Ten nights for six friends , Casablanca to Fez, a 4x4 run into the Sahara, and out through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

10 Nights / 11 DaysDuration
7Cities

Morocco packs desert, mountains, coast and medina cities into a country small enough to loop by road in under two weeks, and a group with varied interests tends to get more out of the full circuit than a Marrakech-only trip , a desert camp for the ones who want the Sahara, medina souks for the shoppers, and a mountain pass for anyone who just wants the view.

This is one of the Morocco itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before , ten nights, eleven days across Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, the Sahara at Merzouga, Ouarzazate and Marrakech, built for six adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a friends' trip through Morocco could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace, and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.

Why Travel to Morocco with Your Friends

Why Travel to Morocco with Your Friends

A private air-conditioned minivan carries the group for the whole loop, switching to a 4x4 convoy for the run in and out of Merzouga , no juggling taxis or splitting up between cities. English-speaking guides join in Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Volubilis, Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech, so nobody in the group is stuck figuring out a medina alone.

The Sahara stretch is built for a group: a sunset camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes, a shared desert camp under a sky with no light pollution, and a half-day 4x4 tour the next morning that takes in Berber nomad families and a Gnawa music performance at Khamlia. Quad biking, sandboarding and sundowners on the dunes are all available as add-ons for whoever wants them.

If you asked us: build in the extra day for Volubilis and Meknes rather than skipping straight from Fez to the desert , the Roman ruins at Volubilis are a genuine detour, not a filler stop.

Ready When You Are

Plan Your Friends Trip to Morocco

A camel ride at sunset, a night under a desert sky with no city lights for company, a mountain pass at 2,260 metres, souks that stay loud past dark , ten nights gives a group of friends the whole of Morocco's usual circuit without rushing any leg of it.

This is one of the itineraries we've built for a group of friends travelling together before, shared here to show what the trip could look like. A version built for your own group , size, pace, and dates , would look a little different.
