South Ari Atoll sits under twenty minutes from Malé by domestic flight, short enough that the transfer barely counts as travel time with an infant. Villa Park's water villas come with a private pool, which does more for a young family's schedule than any activity list , naps happen on villa time, not resort time.

The island itself is built for slow exploring rather than ticking off excursions: a lagoon on one side, dense jungle at its centre, and a house reef close enough for the rest of the family to snorkel in shifts while someone stays back with the baby.

    Land in Malé and connect onto a short domestic flight to South Ari Atoll, followed by a speedboat transfer to Villa Park at Sun Island. Check in to the water villa and let the evening be unplanned , the first one always is, with an infant.

  2. Day 2

    At the Resort

    A full day with nothing booked. Mornings by the villa's private pool, an afternoon walk through the jungle interior, and an all-inclusive dinner that needs no reservation.

  3. Day 3

    House Reef, at Leisure

    Snorkelling over the house reef for whoever wants it, in shifts, while the rest of the family stays back at the villa. The pace stays exactly as slow as the youngest traveller needs it to.

  4. Day 4

    Departure

    A speedboat and short domestic flight back to Malé, timed to connect with the international flight home.
