Nature
Lhaviyani Atoll's house reef and lagoon, sparsely populated compared to the resorts closer to Malé.
Three friends, a forty-minute seaplane ride past the usual North Malé resorts, and a private-pool beach villa in Lhaviyani Atoll.
Most first Maldives trips stop at the North Malé resorts closest to the airport , a fifteen-minute speedboat and done. This one goes further: a forty-minute seaplane out to Lhaviyani Atoll, sparsely populated and further from Malé than almost anywhere else on a standard itinerary.
This is one of the Maldives itineraries we've planned for a small group before , three nights, four days at Fushifaru in Lhaviyani Atoll, built for three adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a trip further out into the Maldives could look like. A version built around your own dates and pace would look a little different , and that's the point.
Why This Trip
Lhaviyani Atoll sits well past the resorts most first-time visitors default to, reachable only by seaplane rather than a quick speedboat transfer. That extra distance is exactly what keeps it quieter , Fushifaru's own description calls it a private paradise, and the isolation is the point rather than a side effect.
A private-pool beach villa on full board removes any reason to leave the island once you've landed. If you asked us: this is the itinerary for a group who'd rather spend forty minutes in a seaplane than another hour in a speedboat queue at a resort everyone's already seen photos of.
per group, based on 3 adults travelling together, full board, excluding international airfare

Day By Day
A forty-minute seaplane ride out to Fushifaru, past the North Malé resorts most first-timers book. Check in to the Beach Villa Sunset, full board.
A full day with nothing scheduled , the house reef for snorkelling, the private pool for everyone else.
Another unplanned day, which is most of the reason to come this far out in the first place.
A seaplane back to Malé, timed to connect with the international flight home.
What's Included
Lhaviyani Atoll's house reef and lagoon, sparsely populated compared to the resorts closer to Malé.

Where You'll Stay
Three nights in a Beach Villa Sunset at Fushifaru, Lhaviyani Atoll, on full board.
The resort's seaplane-only access keeps Lhaviyani Atoll quieter than the speedboat resorts closer to Malé, and the villa's private pool means there's rarely a reason to leave it.
The Fine Print, Handled
Itinerary planning, seaplane transfers, villa reservations, full-board meal plans, visa-on-arrival assistance, and travel support for the whole group.
Customised by group size, villa category, travel dates, and how far out the group wants to go.
Ready When You Are
A seaplane instead of a speedboat, an atoll most itineraries never reach, and a private pool with nowhere else worth going , Lhaviyani Atoll gives a small group the quieter side of the Maldives.
