Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands, and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, with visa included.
Eighteen nights across four countries and territories, from the Falklands' wildlife to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula.
This is the most complete Antarctica itinerary in this set, covering eighteen nights.
It starts at the southern end of South America, stops for wildlife in the Falklands, gives South Georgia three days, and ends on the Antarctic Peninsula before the Drake Passage crossing home.
This is one of the Antarctica expedition voyages Silversea has scheduled aboard Silver Wind, eighteen nights, nineteen days from Puerto Williams and back, (Silversea voyage WI261107018). It's shared here to show what the longest Antarctica route could look like. A version built around your own dates and pace would look a little different, and that's the point.
Why This Trip
November is early in the season. South Georgia's mountains and penguin colonies, the Falklands' wildlife and the scenery of the Antarctic Peninsula all fit into one voyage, with 23 shore excursions on offer, more than any other voyage in this set.
The route has four distinct chapters. The Falkland Islands come first, with West Point Island, Saunders Island and Port Stanley across two days, then South Georgia for three days with the visa included, then Elephant Island and the Antarctic Sound, and finally two days on the Peninsula. If you asked us: this is the voyage for a traveller who wants it all in one trip and has the time for it. Six of the nineteen days are at sea, and the ship reaches the Peninsula only in the last part of the voyage, so it is not the version for a first-time Antarctica traveller who is short of time.

Itinerary planning, voyage reservation, the optional flight package with airport transfers, pre and post voyage stays, visa and travel documentation assistance, and travel support throughout the trip. Customised by travel dates, suite category and pace. The shore excursions shown are examples and can change. Weather in the far south is hard to predict, so the captain and expedition team may adjust the route, the timing and the flights.
