Nature
Mt. Titlis, Mt. Pilatus, the Black Forest crossing into Germany, and Rhine Falls.
Two mountains, a principality, a slice of Germany, and enough time to actually catch your breath.
Switzerland scales well for groups of friends travelling together , trains that run every half hour, hotels with connecting or adjacent rooms, and enough mountain excursions that nobody has to compromise on the pace they want to go at.
This is one of the Switzerland itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before , 11 nights across Zurich, Lucerne, Grindelwald, Bern and Montreux, built for 3 adults travelling together, with a short onward stay in Paris after. It's shared here to show what a longer group trip through Switzerland could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.
Why This Trip
Four nights in Zurich at the start gives the group room to add on a Heidiland and Liechtenstein day tour and a Black Forest crossing into Germany , neither is standard on a first Switzerland itinerary, and both fit easily with a Zurich base.
From there it's Lucerne for the mountains , Titlis and Pilatus both by cable car , then Grindelwald, Bern and Montreux to close, each an easy train apart.
If you asked us, Mt. Pilatus gondola ride is the one to protect on a clear day. On a good afternoon you can see into Italy, and it's less crowded than Titlis.
per adult, based on 3 adults travelling together, excluding international airfare
