Port Louis' Caudan Waterfront and the Adamas Diamond Showroom.
Eight nights that leave room for a dolphin swim, a scuba dive, and enough leisure days that the resort starts to feel like home.
Eight nights changes the shape of a Mauritius trip. Instead of packing every day with a tour, this one spaces the North Tour, South Tour and Ile aux Cerfs across the stay and leaves three full days with nothing booked at all, long enough that a couple stops treating the resort like a stopover.
This is one of the Mauritius itineraries we've planned for a couple before, eight nights, nine days, built for two adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a longer couples' trip to Mauritius could look like. A version built around your own dates and pace would look a little different, and that's the point.
Why This Trip
Three full leisure days sit inside this trip, on top of the North Tour, South Tour and Ile aux Cerfs island day, enough time to actually miss a day at the beach rather than treat every day as an excursion. A private speedboat swim with dolphins at Crystal Dreams and a Discover Scuba Diving session are both available to add on for a couple who wants an active day mid-trip.
If you asked us: the extra nights are worth it for the pace alone. A four or five-night trip rushes the North and South Tours back to back, eight nights lets a couple breathe between them.
