Culture
Khan el-Khalili's centuries-old trading lanes, Alexandria's Greco-Roman landmarks, and Luxor's temple markets.
A tight six-night route for four friends , an evening Nile cruise on arrival, temples in Luxor, and a day among the Sinai's coral reserves.
A short trip for a group of friends works best when nothing is wasted , an evening on the Nile the night you land instead of a jet-lagged first morning, one guided day in Cairo instead of two, and a Red Sea day at the very end so the trip closes on something easy.
This is one of the Egypt itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before , six nights, seven days across Cairo, Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh, built for four adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a friends' trip through Egypt could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace, and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.
Why This Trip
The first evening sets the tone: a Nile cruise with soft drinks and skyline views instead of a heavy itinerary on arrival night. Cairo's temples, museum and bazaar all fit into one full day the next morning, leaving Alexandria as a proper day trip rather than an afterthought.
Luxor pairs a sunrise hot air balloon with a half-day West Bank tour, timed to catch the flight to Sharm El Sheikh the same evening , and Ras Mohamed National Park's coral reefs give the group a shared, unstructured day before everyone flies home.
