Athens takes the first three nights and does the heavy lifting on history. The city tour and the Delphi day both run by private vehicle, so a group of nine can set its own pace and stop when anyone needs a break, and the Delphi entrance fees are already covered. Santorini closes the trip with a high-speed ferry, a boat day to the volcanic islets and a free day at the end. If you asked us: protect that last free day. After two days of touring in Athens and a long day on the water, a group this size will want one day with nothing booked.

Greece Trip Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Athens Arrival

    A representative meets the group at the Athens airport arrival hall and the private transfer heads to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city at the group's own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Athens Private Full-Day City Tour

    A private tour by private vehicle through the highlights of Athens: the Acropolis and Parthenon, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Acropolis Museum and Lycabettus Hill, with time in the neighbourhoods of Plaka and Monastiraki.

  3. Day 3

    Delphi Private Day Tour

    A full-day private tour to the UNESCO-listed site of Delphi, considered the 'Center of the World' in ancient Greece, with the Temple of Apollo in its mountain setting. The Delphi Archaeological Museum follows, home to the Charioteer of Delphi and the Sphinx of Naxos. Entrance fees are included.

  4. Day 4

    High-Speed Ferry to Santorini

    A private transfer to the Athens port and a high-speed ferry across the Aegean to Santorini. A private transfer from the port to the hotel, with the evening at leisure.

  5. Day 5

    Volcano Cruise & Oia Sunset

    A shared boat tour of the volcanic islets inside Santorini's bay: a hike up to the crater of the active volcano at Nea Kameni, then a swim in the naturally heated pools at Palea Kameni. The volcano entry is payable locally, at about 5 euros per person. In the evening, a private transfer for the sunset from Oia.

  6. Day 6

    Santorini at Leisure

    A free day to explore the island at the family's own pace. No vehicle is included on this day.

  7. Day 7

    Santorini Departure

    Check-out and a transfer to Santorini airport for the flight to Athens, connecting to the international flight home.
