This is one of the South Korea itineraries we've planned for a couple before , ten nights, eleven days across Seoul, Busan and Jeju, built for two adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a longer couples' trip through South Korea could look like. A version built around your own dates and pace would look a little different , and that's the point.

This trip's DMZ tour includes a meet-up with a North Korean defector, a personal account that goes further than the usual observatory visit. From there, a bullet train carries the couple to Busan for its coastline, then a short flight to Jeju for two distinct island days , one exploring the south and west coast, one closing with lunch and tangerine picking on a local farm.

The trip loops back through Seoul for a few days, including a day trip to Nami Island, Alpaca World and a rail bike ride through the Chuncheon countryside. If you asked us: keep the last Seoul day free rather than scheduled , ten days in, a couple usually wants one morning with nowhere to be.

    Seoul City Tour , Bullet Train to Busan

    A full-day sightseeing tour through Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Namsangol Hanok Village, followed by a bullet train to Busan in the evening.

  4. Day 4

    Busan's Coastal Charm & Culture

    A ride on the Sky Capsule at Haeundae Blue Line Park, the glass-floored Oryukdo Skywalk, and the murals of Huinnyeoul and Gamcheon Culture Villages, with an evening at Spa Land Centum City.

  5. Day 5

    Jeju Island Arrival
