Edinburgh Castle opens the Scotland leg on the first afternoon, followed by two full days out of the city , Glencoe and Loch Ness one day, then Loch Lomond, the Kelpies and Stirling Castle the next, both by small-group tour.

Back in London, a full day covers St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London and its Crown Jewels, the London Eye, and a Thames river cruise, before a round-trip train to Nottingham for Nottingham Castle and the streets tied to the Robin Hood legend.
