Culture
Oslo's Old Town, Bergen's Bryggen wharf, and Stockholm's Gamla Stan.
Oslo to Bergen to Copenhagen, a Reykjavik week in the middle, and back to Stockholm to close it out.
Six friends moving through five cities need a route that keeps everyone in the same place at the same time , this one does that with a mix of trains, short flights and shared tours, spaced out enough that no one runs out of energy halfway through.
This is one of the Scandinavia itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before , thirteen nights, fourteen days across Oslo, Bergen, Copenhagen and Stockholm, with a five-night stop in Reykjavik in between, built for six adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a friends' trip through Scandinavia could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.
Why This Trip
May puts Norway in a Nutshell railway and Iceland's south coast both in a good weather window at once, which matters when a group's travel dates are fixed months ahead and can't move around the forecast.
The Reykjavik week in the middle gives the group room to split off during the day , some on the Golden Circle tour, others happy with a slower morning , before regrouping for the Blue Lagoon and a shared evening at the Ice Bar back in Stockholm.
per adult, based on 6 adults travelling together, excluding international airfare
