Culture
A tea ceremony at Sanjo Chasuian, Kinkaku-ji, and the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Ten friends, one private vehicle, and a March week timed just ahead of cherry blossom season.
Ten friends moving through Japan together need one thing above all ; a plan nobody has to argue over. This one keeps everyone on a single private vehicle, one guide, and a route that balances temples with shopping so no one's holiday gets sacrificed for someone else's.
This is one of the Japan itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before ; eight nights, nine days across Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, built for ten adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a friends' trip through Japan could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace, and dates would look a little different ; and that's the point.
Why This Trip
March sits just ahead of the cherry blossom crowds, with clearer schedules at Fushimi Inari and Arashiyama before the season turns. A private vehicle for the full group keeps ten people moving as one, instead of splitting across taxis at every stop.
A tea ceremony at Kyoto's newly opened Sanjo Chasuian gives the group a shared quiet moment mid-trip, and the Sagano Romantic Train adds a scenic ride between temple stops ; a change of pace that suits a group with different interests.
