A group of ten with limited time doesn't need every park in Kenya , it needs one done properly. This trip stays in the Masai Mara for the entire safari, with a Nairobi bookend on either side and a sunrise balloon ride offered as an add-on for anyone who wants it.

This is one of the Kenya itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before , four nights, five days built almost entirely around the Masai Mara Game Reserve, for ten adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a short, focused group safari through Kenya could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.

Three full nights in the Mara means two full days of game drives, with the option of a full-day circuit with a picnic lunch on top of the standard morning and afternoon drives , enough time for a group of ten to see the reserve properly without a long list of other parks to rush through.

The last morning in the Mara is left open for a sunrise balloon ride with a bush champagne breakfast (optional, at additional cost) , the kind of splurge that works well when a group is sharing the trip and can choose in or out individually. A stop at a Masai village and last-minute shopping in Nairobi round out the close of the trip.
