This is one of the Seychelles itineraries we've planned for a group of friends before, six nights, seven days across Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, built for four adults travelling together. It's shared here to show what a friends' trip through Seychelles could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace and dates would look a little different, and that's the point.

The Mahé coach tour covers Victoria, the Cultural Village, Eden Island and the Takamaka Bay Rum Distillery in one day, with lunch and entrance fees included, so the group sees the island without planning any of it.

Praslin and La Digue are the active half. A dive day, a day of cycling and a morning at Anse Source d'Argent give the group plenty to do, and the evenings are for Beau Vallon's beach bars or the hotel terrace. If you asked us: book the diving for the second or third day rather than the last. Divers should not fly within about 24 hours of their final dive, so the dive day belongs earlier in the trip.

Mahé Day 1–3

Praslin Day 4–7

A morning in the Vallée de Mai's ancient palm forest, followed by a long afternoon in Anse Lazio.

La Digue Day 5

The group rents bicycles to explore at its own pace, taking in Anse Source d'Argent, Grand Anse and the island's quiet villages before the boat back.

Seychelles Trip Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Mahé Arrival, Sunset at Beau Vallon

    A transfer to the hotel on Mahé, then an evening at Beau Vallon for a swim and sunset drinks at one of the beachside bars.

  2. Day 2

    Full Day Tour of Mahé Island

    A coach tour through Victoria, the Cultural Village and Eden Island, with a viewpoint stop at Mission Lodge and a visit to the Takamaka Bay Rum Distillery. Lunch and entrance fees are included, and rum tasting is paid directly at the distillery.

  3. Day 3

    Scuba Diving & Snorkelling

    A day on the water at the Sainte Anne Marine National Park or one of Mahé's dive sites, for coral gardens, rays and turtles. Non-divers snorkel or stay on the boat.

  4. Day 4

    Ferry to Praslin, at Leisure

    A morning catamaran to Praslin and a free afternoon at the hotel and beach.

  5. Day 5

    La Digue Day Trip by Bicycle

    A hotel pickup and a shared boat across to La Digue. The group rents bicycles to explore at its own pace, taking in Anse Source d'Argent, Grand Anse and the island's quiet villages before the boat back.

  6. Day 6

    Vallée de Mai & Anse Lazio

    A morning in the Vallée de Mai's ancient palm forest, followed by a long afternoon in Anse Lazio.

  7. Day 7

    Praslin Departure

    A transfer to the airport for the flight home.
