Culture
A guided Dublin city tour and Edinburgh's gin distillery.
Ten nights across three nations, ending at a coastline of hexagonal rock most itineraries never reach.
Most UK and Scotland itineraries stop at Edinburgh. This one crosses the Irish Sea for Dublin, Belfast and the Giant's Causeway, turning a two-nation trip into three.
This is one of the itineraries we've planned for a family before , 10 nights, 11 days across London, Edinburgh, Dublin and the Antrim coast, built for 8 adults and 2 children (2 and 6 years) travelling together. It's shared here to show what an extended UK-and-Ireland route could look like. A version built around your own group's size, pace, and dates would look a little different , and that's the point.
Why This Trip
Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and the Tower of London cover the essential London days, and Edinburgh Castle and a gin distillery round out Scotland. From there, most itineraries turn back. This one flies on to Dublin instead, and drives north to Belfast and the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of hexagonal basalt columns most travellers only see in photographs.
With ten adults and two young children in the group, the itinerary balances fixed touring with private disposal vehicles on the open days , useful when a group this size, spanning two generations, needs to move at more than one pace.
If you asked us: split the Giant's Causeway day if travelling with young children. It's a long day in the car for a two-year-old, and the coastline rewards unhurried time on foot.
per adult and ₹2,79,500 per child, based on 8 adults and 2 children (2 and 6 years) travelling together, excluding international airfare, UK visa and travel insurance.
