July puts Greece in full summer mode, with long days and warm water for the volcanic islands cruise and its hot springs swim. The trip opens with three nights on Santorini in a private pool villa, one full day on the water, and one day left deliberately open, with a horseback ride or a private photoshoot available if the mood strikes. Mykonos follows for two nights with a city and island tour, and Athens closes the trip with an archaeologist-led walk through the Acropolis and a full day at Delphi with virtual reality audio. If you asked us: leave the Santorini free day unbooked until you're there. It's the one day on the route with room to move.

Greece Trip Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Athens, Flight to Santorini

    An overnight flight via Abu Dhabi lands in Athens in the morning, followed by a 45-minute hop to Santorini. A private transfer takes the couple to the hotel and a private pool villa, with the rest of the day at leisure.

  2. Day 2

    Santorini Volcanic Islands Cruise & Oia Sunset

    A full-day cruise around the volcanic islands in Santorini's bay, on a shared tour. The volcano at Nea Kameni, the sulphur hot springs off Palea Kameni and free time on Thirassia fill the day, which closes with the sunset from Oia.

  3. Day 3

    Santorini at Leisure

    A free day in Santorini, or one of two optional extras: a small-group horseback ride from Megalochori out to the black sands of Eros Beach, or a private photoshoot with a professional photographer.

  4. Day 4

    Ferry to Mykonos

    A private transfer to the port, then the morning ferry from Santorini to Mykonos. Another private transfer to the hotel, with the afternoon free.

  5. Day 5

    Mykonos City & Island Tour

    A combined tour that starts in the old town's streets before they get busy, then moves out to some of the island's beaches, architecture and historic sites, with two main villages and a stop for refreshments.

  6. Day 6

    Ferry to Athens, Acropolis & Parthenon Walk

    The Mykonos to Athens ferry, followed by a private transfer to the hotel. In the evening, a two-hour guided walk through the Acropolis and Parthenon with skip-the-line access, led by a licensed archaeologist.

  7. Day 7

    Delphi Full-Day Tour with VR Audio Guide

    A ten-hour day trip from Athens to Delphi, starting in the morning, with audio and virtual reality equipment bringing the ancient ruins to life. The day includes the Delphi Archaeological Museum, a scenic drive and a stop in the village of Arachova, with the entry ticket included.

  8. Day 8

    Athens Departure

    A private transfer to Athens airport for the morning flight home via Abu Dhabi.
