The Vallée de Mai's ancient palm forest and the unhurried, bicycle-and-ox-cart pace of La Digue.
Seven nights across three islands, from a Mahé sunset to granite boulders on La Digue, with a ferry between each stay.
Seychelles suits a couple who wants a beach holiday with a little more variety than one resort can offer. Each of the three main islands has its own character, and they are close enough that moving between them feels like part of the trip rather than a chore. This is one of the Seychelles itineraries we've planned for a couple before, seven nights, eight days across Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, built for two adults travelling together.
It's shared here to show what an island-hopping couples' trip through Seychelles could look like. A version built around your own dates and pace would look a little different, and that's the point.
Why This Trip
Late April and May sit between the two monsoons, when the sea is calm, the air is warm and the beaches are at their best. That makes it a good window for the Sainte Anne Marine National Park snorkel, the Curieuse Island tortoise walk and a full day on bicycles in La Digue.
The route moves from the busiest island to the quietest. Mahé comes first for the sunset at Beau Vallon and a morning of snorkelling, Praslin follows with the Vallée de Mai and Anse Lazio, and La Digue closes the trip at a pace set by the bicycle. If you asked us: keep La Digue for the last two nights and do not rush it. The island is at its best early in the morning and late in the afternoon, and a couple who has a full day there rather than a day trip sees a different place.

Day By Day
A private transfer to the hotel on Mahé, with the evening set aside for Beau Vallon, the island's longest beach. It faces northwest, which makes it one of the best places on the island to watch the sun go down.
A short boat ride from Victoria to a protected cluster of six islands, with time to snorkel over coral gardens and look for sea turtles and eagle rays. The afternoon is free.
A day with nothing booked, for the beach, the pool or a slow lunch at one of Beau Vallon's relaxed beachside restaurants.
A catamaran ferry to Praslin, then an afternoon in the Vallée de Mai, the UNESCO-listed palm forest and the last stronghold of the Coco de Mer.
A morning on Anse Lazio's white sand, one of the most beautiful beaches in Seychelles, then a boat across to Curieuse Island to walk among free-roaming Aldabra giant tortoises.
A boat transfer to La Digue and a hotel check-in, then an afternoon on rented bicycles along shaded paths, past quiet coves and granite viewpoints.
A morning among the pink granite boulders of Anse Source d'Argent, entered through the old L'Union Estate. The rest of the day is free for Grand Anse or Petite Anse.
A morning ferry back toward Mahé and a private transfer to the airport for the flight home.
